“Courted Hoard, Are You So Bored? Do Not Applaud A Bloody War” — Unknown

A kinetic look at what happens when something goes drastically wrong with one part of our everyday.
The film looks at how truly self involved people have the capacity to be in the unconscious space of routine.

On Hoddle Street our characters desire to profit, maybe in the form of careerism, or a space gold coin, or membership in some weird club that will send you magazines in the mail and jump start your battery.
They debilitate any act of kindness. And on Hoddle Street there’s always someone ready to be abusive, too. We’re all running late. We’re all in a hurry. Anything that might upset this crazy rhythm even slightly gets short shrift from us without us really realising why.

Let’s just all pause, take a fumy breath, and return to a time when mobile phones were the size of baguettes.
